Salon Receptionist

A salon receptionist acts as the first point of contact, managing the front desk, scheduling appointments, and providing customer service to ensure smooth operations. Key duties include greeting clients, answering phones, processing payments, and maintaining salon cleanliness. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and adept at handling scheduling software and client queries.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Customer Service: Warmly greet clients, offer beverages, manage the waiting area, and address inquiries or complaints.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process cash and card transactions, issue receipts, and manage the point-of-sale system.
  • Administrative Tasks: Update client records (contact info, service history), manage staff schedules, and maintain salon cleanliness.
  • Sales & Marketing: Promote salon services, retail products, and special offers, including selling gift cards.
  • Communication: Coordinate with stylists and technicians to ensure a smooth, efficient flow of customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, in customer service, or in a salon/spa environment is preferred.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and work cohesively with staff.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in booking software, computers, and general office equipment.
  • Organization: Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy, high-demand periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
