Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
• Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems and booking software
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about services, promotions, and salon policies
• Assist clients with product demos, upselling retail items, and promoting salon services to enhance their experience
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, including merchandising and stocking products as needed
• Support the salon team with basic retail sales, inventory management, and product merchandising to maximize sales opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and active listening abilities
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for transactions
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of grocery store or retail environments is beneficial but not required
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and proactive approach to customer engagement

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
