Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently using the salon’s booking system (POS)
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information and assisting with inquiries
• Manage retail sales by upselling products and conducting product demos to enhance client satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, including stocking and merchandising products
• Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment to ensure product availability
• Support salon staff with administrative tasks such as managing client records and processing payments

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus salon experience is a must .
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures to ensure smooth sales operations
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while providing outstanding customer service

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
