Salon Receptionist

***We will host interviews for FULL time applicants beginning Jan 6th, 2026. After the Full time position is filled we will interview for part time ***

Qualifications:

-Background in customer service and management

-Computer skills

-Social media knowledge

-Multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment

-Phone etiquette

-Retail sales

Position will be responsible for but not limited to,

- Meet with Owners monthly

-Oversee budget and orders

-Manage a staff of up to 20 people

-create, design and market upcoming specials and promos

-Increase revenue and client base through in house marketing and the community

-Meet, motivate and track employee goals

-Keep salon/spa stocked and oversee cleaning

-advertise and interview potential new employees

-schedule, advertise and promote spa events for clients

-oversee day to day operations and maintain a smooth running operation.

**Must have open availability; daytime, evening and Saturday shifts**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Application Question(s):

  • Do you have a NYS industry license in Cosmetology, Nail Technician, or Esthetician? Are you enrolled in school for any of the above?
  • Do you have any experience in marketing and upgrades, direct sales to in person customers?
  • Do you have open availability? Available for shifts between 9am-830pm T-Fr and 830-530 Sat and that open availability will continue indefinitely? If the answer is no (you have another job, are in or will be starting school, have other personal obligations that limit availability) please come back after Feb 15th for the part time position we will be hiring for.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 5 years (Required)
