Salon Receptionist/ Assistant Manager

Duties

  • Oversee front desk operations, including greeting clients and managing appointment schedules with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently, providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and team members
  • Assist in office management tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Support daily administrative functions including calendar management, appointment booking, and bookkeeping with QuickBooks or similar software
  • Ensure excellent phone etiquette while answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing information about salon services
  • Manage client check-in/check-out processes, process payments accurately, and support customer support initiatives to enhance client satisfaction
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations, including inventory management and office supplies procurement

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within a salon or similar environment
  • Strong computer literacy with skills in Canva, Booking software, and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and active listening abilities
  • Personal assistant or office assistant experience is a plus; familiarity with calendar management and bookkeeping is advantageous
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to manage and lead with confidence and kindness is a must
  • Communication and problem solving
