Job Summary
The Salon Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the salon, ensuring exceptional client service, staff performance, operational efficiency, and achievement of sales targets. The role ensures brand standards, hygiene protocols, and team discipline are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Management
- Supervise day-to-day salon activities
- Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures
- Monitor appointment scheduling and staff allocation
- Resolve client complaints professionally
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and municipality standards are followed
Team Supervision & Staff Management
- Supervise hairdressers, nail technicians, therapists, receptionists
- Monitor punctuality, grooming, and performance
- Conduct daily briefings and motivate staff
- Support training and development
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding
- Implement commission and incentive structures
Sales & Revenue Control
- Monitor daily sales targets
- Upsell retail and service packages
- Track KPIs (conversion rate, average bill, retail ratio)
- Prepare daily and monthly sales reports
- Reduce wastage and control back-bar usage
Customer Experience
- Ensure luxury service standards
- Maintain VIP client relations
- Handle reviews (Google / Instagram)
- Ensure consultation process is followed
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels
- Conduct monthly inventory checks
- Prevent product misuse or theft
- Coordinate with suppliers
Administration & Reporting
- Prepare daily cash reconciliation
- Monitor petty cash
- Submit performance reports to management
- Ensure compliance with MOHRE and salon policies
