Job Overview:
- Join our aircraft recovery team to assist with field recovery of damaged aircraft.
- Work in varied conditions: Shop, hangars, ramps, off‑airport sites, cold, heat, and wind.
- Disassemble and part out general aviation aircraft in a controlled shop environment.
- Handle, photograph, tag, removed aircraft parts for resale and inventory.
- Perform basic computer tasks to enter parts into our online inventory system.
- Perform general property and equipment maintenance, including shelter builds, mowing, bush‑hogging, trailer/truck repairs and loading/unlading aircraft.
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands‑on general aviation experience (Cessna, Piper, Beech, Mooney, etc.).
- Comfortable with hand tools, basic aircraft structures, and IPC usage.
- Willing and able to travel on short notice for multi‑day recovery assignments.
- Comfortable operating a 1‑ton truck coupled to a 40+ft gooseneck trailer.
- Able to operate a modern tractor with bush hog, bucket and forklift attachments.
- Comfortable with the use of a table saw (building crates).
- Comfortable using stick welder, cutting torch and general shop equipment.
- Physically able to climb onto trailers, navigate through damaged airframes and work safely in tight or uneven spaces.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
