Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Samsara Monitoring and Fleet Operations Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the real-time monitoring of our fleet using cutting-edge Samsara technology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative fleet management solutions that drive operational excellence and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fleet activity continuously through Samsara’s platform, ensuring real-time visibility of vehicle locations, statuses, and performance metrics to support Safety and Dispatch teams.
• Review AI-driven video analytics and dash cam footage to identify, flag, and report risky driving behaviors to prevent incidents with AI-based alerts.
• Monitor driver behaviors metrics including: Drowsiness detection, Lane departure warning, Inattentive driving, No seat belt, Mobile usage, Tailgating, Rolling stops, Speeding, Harsh braking, Distracted driving.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet operations, incidents, and maintenance logs within the Samsara system.
• Support the implementation of safety protocols by reviewing driver behavior reports and promoting best practices.
• Take a proactive approach by escalating repeat safety violations to management and assist with driver coaching.

Qualifications

• Experience with fleet management systems, particularly Samsara or similar telematics platforms.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with Safety team, Drivers, and Dispatchers.
• Knowledge of vehicle operations, maintenance procedures, and safety standards within fleet environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to telematics hardware or software components.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
