Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing a positive first impression and ensuring smooth entry into the sand bar area
• Verify guest age and identification to enforce legal drinking age requirements
• Manage guest flow, monitor capacity limits, and maintain a safe environment for all visitors
• Enforce venue policies and communicate clearly with guests regarding rules and safety procedures
• Handle guest inquiries professionally, providing information about the bar offerings and event details
• Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient operation of the sand bar area and guest satisfaction
• Maintain a high level of phone etiquette when assisting guests via phone or online inquiries

Experience

• Prior host/hostess experience or customer service background preferred, especially within hospitality or restaurant settings
• Experience working in food service environments, with knowledge of serving protocols and guest relations
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for processing transactions smoothly
• Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and attentive listening
• Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle diverse guest needs with professionalism
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including phone etiquette and guest engagement techniques
• Ability to remain energetic, approachable, and professional in a lively environment
