The Sand Blaster will be responsible for using abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces of various materials, including metal, plastic, and other substrates.

Qualifications:
While previous experience in sandblasting or a related field is preferred, it is not required, as on-the-job training will be provided. The candidate must be capable of operating sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently, with a keen eye for detail to ensure the surfaces meet quality standards. Strong attention to detail is essential, as the ability to identify imperfections on materials is critical. The role also requires the ability to work in physically demanding environments, including standing for long periods and lifting materials up to 50 lbs. A solid understanding of safety procedures, along with the ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean, organized workspace, is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Operate sandblasting equipment to remove paint, rust, dirt, or other contaminants from materials.
- Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met.
- Adjust equipment settings, including pressure and blast media, to meet project specifications.
- Maintain and clean blasting equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols, wearing required protective equipment, including respirators, gloves, and goggles.
- Monitor and document progress of projects, including materials used and time taken.
- Ensure that work areas are kept clean and organized at all times.
