Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by properly handling food, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operation and balancing drawers at shift end
• Assist with food safety practices such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant remains tidy and organized throughout your shift

Requirements

• Prior experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and sales transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience in cashiering or retail math is advantageous; previous restaurant experience is highly valued
• A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills to support a collaborative work environment

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
