Sandwich Artist/Cashier

Duties

• Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, dining space, and cashier station in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
• Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a quick service environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or a fast food/quick service restaurant is preferred; culinary or café experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with customers confidently and professionally.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and maintain high energy levels throughout shifts.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications.
