Position Summary:

As a Sandwich Artist/Cashier at Sourdough & Co., you will be responsible for creating our signature sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, and handling cash transactions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a delightful dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to Sourdough & Co. recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Greet customers warmly and assist them in making menu selections.
• Operate the cash register, handle cash, and process credit/debit card transactions accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed, ensuring freshness and availability.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
• Uphold the highest standards of quality and presentation in all food items served.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning and setup/teardown of the kitchen and dining areas.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
