Sandwich maker / cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandwich Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food preparation stations.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems to process customer orders accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist in stocking ingredients and supplies as needed to maintain inventory levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
• Perform bussing duties as necessary to maintain a clean dining area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
