Job Summary:

This role is an ABAP Developer position specialized in SAP BTP public cloud, focusing on ABAP Cloud development using RAP, CDS views, and OData for S/4HANA extensions while following clean core principles. Developers manage applications via BTP Cockpit for performance monitoring, resource allocation, security, and lifecycle tasks like deployments. QTM expertise ensures robust public cloud testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps integration

Key Responsibilities

ABAP Developers in BTP focus on the ABAP Environment within SAP BTP, leveraging RAP for cloud-ready apps tied to S/4HANA, distinguishing from broader BTP development using CAP (Java/Node.js) or Kyma for non-ABAP scenarios. Mandatory BTP/QTM signals cloud ABAP expertise for side-by-side extensions and CI/CD testing, not generic BTP platform admin or low-code work.

Required Expertise

• 5+ years overall, with mandatory BTP and QTM public cloud exposure for building scalable cloud solutions.​
• Core technical skills: RAP for service modeling, CDS for data modeling, OData for API exposure.​
• Optional: S/4HANA 2021+ familiarity and migration expertise, enhancing fit for upgrade projects.​

Good-to-Have Skills

S/4 migration proficiency stands out, involving tools like SAP Migration Cockpit for data handling in public cloud transitions. Additional strengths include Fiori/UI5, clean core strategies, and Agile/Scrum delivery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,495,043.09 - ₹2,453,633.18 per year
