Job Description: SAP Business Process Expert – Treasury & Hedging

Role Overview

Talisman Consulting is seeking a highly skilled SAP Business Process Expert for S/4HANA Treasury and Hedging. This remote role involves designing and implementing a global solution spanning multiple countries across North America, Europe, LATAM, and Asia-Pacific. The ideal candidate will translate complex global financial processes into robust, scalable SAP solutions, managing everything from initial prototyping to production service delivery.

Position Details

• Location: Remote (Must have own laptop, high-speed internet, and power/internet backup)
• Salary: PKR 400,000 - 500,000 per month
• Employment Type: Full-time / Hybrid-ready (Primarily remote with willingness to travel to client sites as needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Architecture
• Translate global Treasury business processes into standard SAP-TRM configurations.
• Engineer custom SAP enhancements for robust and scalable solutions.
• Map end-to-end functional and non-functional system requirements.
• Design system integrations with surrounding SAP and non-SAP platforms.
• Maintain SAP Treasury integration with SAP-Finance for cash application.
• Formulate integration paths for reconciliation, monitoring, and tracking.
• Assist in designing secure SAP-Treasury user security roles.
• Research industry trends to advise business and IT leads.
• Hands-on Execution & Prototyping
• Prototype SAP solutions independently to meet complex requirements.
• Define Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for configuration teams.
• Perform fit-gap analyses on legacy and future states.
• Provide accurate delivery estimates for system changes.
• Suggest ongoing process and technology improvements.
• Testing & Lifecycle Management
• Write detailed system design and technical documents.
• Maintain and update the requirements traceability matrix.
• Draft comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and scripts.
• Envision critical points-of-failure to mitigate system risks.
• Execute unit testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Conduct performance testing under high-pressure scenarios.
• Manage quarterly S/4HANA upgrade evaluation and deployment.
• Own final service delivery within the production environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience & Education

• Experience: 4–6 years of hands-on implementation experience in SAP Treasury modules.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Treasury, or a related field.
• Preferred Credentials: CPA, CFA, or an equivalent advanced degree.
• Industry Domain: Prior experience implementing SAP Treasury in Oil & Gas, Utilities, or Financial Services industries is highly preferred.
• Language: Business fluent or native English proficiency.
• Technical & Functional Competencies
• Core SAP Treasury: Strong command over Cash Management, In-House Cash / Banking, Payments, Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC), and Trading Platform Integration.
• Financial Instruments: Deep knowledge of Money Markets, Loans Management (FS-CML), Securities, and Credit Risk/Market Data Management.
• Hedging & Derivatives: Strong understanding of Financial Instruments hedging (intercompany loans, FX options, FX forwards) and/or Commodities hedging (futures, margin payments).
• Connectivity & 3rd Party Integrations: Experience with SWIFT integration services, ISO20022 messaging, and non-SAP Supply Chain Finance Solutions.
• 3rd Party Platforms: Proven integration experience with external platforms like Serrala, FIS, 360T, IT2, and Bloomberg.
