Job Description/ Responsibilities

Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP SD Consultant with strong functional expertise in Sales and Distribution processes, including pricing configuration, order-to-cash cycle, and API interfaces. The candidate should also possess a basic understanding of ABAP debugging to support issue resolution and have excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP SD Configuration & Support
• Configure and maintain pricing procedures, condition types, and access sequences.
• Set up and manage sales order processing, including order types, item categories, and schedule lines.
• Configure delivery and billing/invoicing processes, ensuring compliance with business requirements.
• Integration & Interfaces
• Design and support interfaces for order creation and invoice processing between SAP and external systems (e.g., EDI, IDoc, API-based integrations).
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues.
• Technical Analysis & Debugging
• Perform basic ABAP debugging to identify root causes of functional issues in custom developments.
• Work closely with developers to provide functional specifications and validate technical solutions.
• Stakeholder Management & Documentation
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Prepare process documentation and configuration guides.
• Communicate effectively with business users, project managers, and technical teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD implementation and support.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Pricing configuration (condition types, pricing procedures, condition records).
• Order-to-Cash cycle (sales orders, delivery, billing).
• Invoice processing and interfaces (IDoc, EDI, or middleware tools).
• Basic understanding of ABAP debugging for issue analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA SD module.
• Knowledge of integration points with MM, FI and TM modules.
• Familiarity with taxation and rebate processing in SAP SD.
• Exposure to middleware tools (e.g., PI/PO, BTP CPI).
