Job Title: SAP CPI Technical Consultant

Location: Remote (Eastern Europe / India / Egypt preferred)
Contract Duration: 12 Months (6 months implementation + 6 months support)
Industry: Retail (SAP S/4HANA IS Retail)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Technical Consultant to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA (IS Retail) transformation programme. This role will focus on designing, developing, and managing integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow between retail, finance, logistics, and external platforms.

You will play a critical role in enabling connectivity between SAP S/4HANA, POS systems, cloud platforms, and third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP CPI
• Build and manage interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and external systems (POS, CRM, e-commerce, finance systems, etc.)
• Develop and maintain iFlows, APIs, and integration scenarios
• Ensure seamless data exchange and real-time/near real-time integration
• Work closely with functional consultants (FICO, SD, MM) to understand integration requirements
• Support end-to-end implementation lifecycle:
  • Integration design
  • Development
  • Testing (SIT/UAT)
  • Go-live and hypercare
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and performance bottlenecks
• Ensure data consistency, security, and governance across integrations
• Collaborate with Basis and infrastructure teams on connectivity and environment setup

Key Requirements

• 8-10+ years' experience in SAP integration / technical roles
• Strong hands on experience with SAP CPI (mandatory)
• Experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA environments
• Mandatory: IS Retail project experience
• Minimum 3 end to end SAP implementations with integration scope
• Strong understanding of:
  • APIs, REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC
  • Middleware and cloud integration patterns
• Experience working with multiple systems in complex enterprise landscapes
• Ability to work independently and manage integration governance and data flows

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating with retail POS systems, e commerce platforms, and third party applications
• Exposure to SAP BTP services
• Knowledge of event driven architecture or real time integrations
• Arabic language skills (preferred but not essential)
