Join our dynamic team as an SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Consultant, where you will play a pivotal role in implementing and optimizing SAP financial modules to drive business excellence. <Responsibilities>
- Analyze business requirements related to finance and controlling processes, translating them into effective SAP FICO solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO).
- Collaborate with solution architects to design scalable system architectures that integrate SAP with other enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Develop and execute testing strategies for SAP FICO implementations, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support data migration activities using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools to ensure accurate transfer of financial data across systems.
- Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting issues related to system design, system hardening, security protocols like VPNs and firewalls, and performance optimization.
- Participate in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Git to streamline updates and enhancements.
<Skills>
- Deep understanding of SAP FICO modules along with experience in solution architecture for enterprise finance systems.
- Proficiency in integrating SAP with other platforms such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, or custom web services using RESTful APIs and SOAP protocols.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization technologies like VMware or ESXi, and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell Scripting) and DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines for efficient system deployment.
- Knowledge of network security protocols including VPNs, DNS management, load balancing, system hardening techniques, vulnerability assessment, threat intelligence, and cloud security best practices.
- Ability to work within Agile methodologies while managing SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills in debugging complex issues related to system design or performance bottlenecks across diverse IT environments.
