Responsibilities:

We are looking for a motivated SAP Consultant with a passion for SAP Fiori/UI5. As an SAP Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting in various projects related to SAP Fiori/UI5 team. You will work closely with a team of skilled consultants to provide expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Fiori and UI5 developments, as well as proficiency in SAP S4HANA systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and develop SAP Fiori applications and custom UI5 interfaces based on business requirements.

· Ensure applications follow SAP Fiori design guidelines for a consistent and intuitive user experience.

· Build responsive and mobile-friendly user interfaces using SAPUI5 (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and OData services).

· Customize and extend standard SAP Fiori apps when necessary.

· Integrate SAP Fiori/UI5 applications with SAP backend systems (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA) using OData services, REST APIs, or other protocols.

· Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless data flow between the frontend and SAP systems.

· Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for UI/UX improvements.

· Translate functional specifications into technical designs.

· Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of Fiori/UI5 applications to ensure quality and performance.

· Resolve issues related to compatibility, performance, or functionality.

· Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for developed applications.

· Provide ongoing support for deployed applications, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and enhancements.

Skill Requirements:

· Proficiency in SAPUI5 framework, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery for building responsive UIs.

· Strong understanding of SAP Fiori design principles, architecture

· Expertise in MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture and UI5 controls

· OData protocol and SAP Gateway for integrating Fiori/UI5 apps with SAP backend systems.

· Ability to create/consume OData services

· Proficiency with SAP Web IDE, SAP Business Application Studio, or Eclipse for development.

· Ability to use browser developer tools, SAP Gateway Client, and other debugging tools.

· Familiarity with Git or other version control systems for managing code.

· Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform for cloud-based development.

· Knowledge of SAP HANA database and CDS (Core Data Services) views.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and end-users.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Must Have skills: SAP UI5/FIORI, JavaScript, BTP, BAS/Web IDE, GitHub.

Good to have skills: Basic knowledge in HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Cloud Foundry, Neo, CDS,ABAP is an added advantage.

Project Specific Requirements:

Duration of interview will be 45 minutes. Types of questions would include deep technical inquiries into SAP Fiori/UI5, BTP etc., as well as soft skills assessments (teamwork, communication, and adaptability). Expect experience-based questions about past projects and scenario-based questions focusing on how you would handle specific technical challenges or project timelines. Conceptual questions may also be included to assess your understanding of SAP's core functionalities and business processes.
