Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM / WM Functional Consultant to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA (IS Retail) transformation programme. The role will focus on delivering end-to-end implementation and post-go-live support across materials management, warehouse operations, and retail supply chain processes.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and technical consultants to ensure seamless integration of procurement, inventory, and warehouse management processes within a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP MM / WM functional activities within S/4HANA IS Retail
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Configure and optimize:
  • Procurement processes (P2P)
  • Inventory management
  • Warehouse operations and stock movements
• Ensure accurate material flow and stock visibility across warehouses and retail locations
• Support integration with:
  • SAP SD (sales and distribution)
  • SAP FICO (financial postings)
  • Retail POS systems
• Participate in end-to-end implementation activities, including:
  • Blueprint / design
  • Configuration
  • Testing (SIT/UAT)
  • Go-live and hypercare
• Troubleshoot issues and provide post-go-live support
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and process compliance
• Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, CPI, Basis) for enhancements and integrations

Key Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in SAP MM / WM functional roles
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA (mandatory)
• Mandatory: IS Retail experience
• Minimum 3 end-to-end SAP implementations
• Strong understanding of:
  • Procurement and sourcing processes
  • Inventory and warehouse management
  • Stock transfers, batch management, and logistics execution
• Experience working in retail or FMCG environments
• Ability to work independently and manage data and governance responsibilities
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with warehouse automation / advanced WM or EWM concepts
• Exposure to integration with POS and retail systems
• Knowledge of supply chain optimisation and reporting tools
• Arabic language skills (preferred but not essential)
