SAP MM/WM Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM / WM Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) . The ideal candidate will have end-to-end implementation experience, strong integration knowledge with other SAP modules, and exposure to SAP S/4HANA logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP MM – Materials Management

• Configure and support:
• Procurement processes (PR, PO, RFQ, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements)
• Inventory Management (Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Transfers, Physical Inventory)
• Vendor Master, Material Master , and purchasing info records
• Design and maintain:
• Release strategies
• Pricing procedures and account determination
• Support MM integration with FI, SD, PP, QM , and WM
• Handle GST and tax-related configurations in procurement and inventory
• Support month-end closing and stock reconciliation

SAP WM – Warehouse Management

• Configure and support:
• Warehouse structure (Warehouse number, storage types, storage sections, bins)
• Putaway, Picking, Transfer Orders , and Stock Removal strategies
• Goods Receipt and Goods Issue processes
• Implement inventory management at warehouse level
• Configure handling units , if applicable
• Support physical inventory processes in WM
• Resolve production issues and optimize warehouse operations

SAP S/4HANA & Logistics

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Logistics
• Participate in ECC to S/4HANA migrations , rollouts, and upgrades
• Understand simplifications and changes in S/4HANA MM
• Exposure to Fiori apps for MM/WM processes
• Work closely with technical teams for interfaces, enhancements, and reports

Client & Project Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements
• Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis , and solution design
• Prepare functional specifications , test cases, and documentation
• Support UAT, training, and go-live activities
• Act as a functional advisor to clients and internal teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6–11 years of hands-on SAP MM / WM experience
• Strong configuration knowledge in MM and WM
• Experience in at least 1–2 end-to-end SAP implementations
• Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, and warehouse processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in SAP consulting environments

Good to Have:

• SAP MM / WM or S/4HANA certification
• Exposure to EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
• Experience in global rollouts or multi-country implementations
• Knowledge of integrations with third-party warehouse systems
