SAP Order Management & Platform Integration Specialist

The Role

This is a hands-on technical role sitting at the heart of our SAP S/4HANA order management landscape. You'll take active ownership of the platform — keeping it performing, scaling it to meet growing demand, and driving the continuous improvement of its configuration and integrations. You'll work closely with development, operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure our order-to-cash processes run reliably and efficiently at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

SAP Platform Ownership

Take active, day-to-day ownership of our SAP S/4HANA environment with a specific focus on Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Sales & Distribution (SD) configuration. You'll manage the platform proactively — monitoring health, resolving complex issues, and driving improvements that prevent problems before they impact the business.

Third-Party & Cross-Platform Integration

Own and maintain integrations between SAP and third-party platforms — including D365 CRM, sales order entry channels, and broader enterprise systems. You'll ensure data flows accurately across the landscape, troubleshoot integration failures, and work with platform and integration teams to design more resilient connections.

Continuous Improvement & Automation

Identify manual processes and replace them with scalable, automated solutions. Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, and ensure releases meet quality and testing standards before reaching production.

Incident & Problem Resolution

Lead root cause analysis on complex platform issues, drive post-incident reviews, and implement long-term fixes in collaboration with development and product teams. Ensure monitoring and alerting provides full visibility across the SAP landscape using tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Dynatrace.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work across engineering, cloud operations, security, and product teams to define platform requirements and prioritise improvement initiatives. Share knowledge, document findings, and contribute to a growing community of SAP and platform specialists.

What We're Looking For

• Platform operations, DevOps, or SAP technical role with a focus on application management
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience — specifically OTC/SD configuration and architecture
• Strong knowledge of third-party platform integration within complex, highly connected landscapes
• Experience with D365 CRM and order management interfaces in a B2B or B2C environment — FMCG experience advantageous
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and SAP TMS
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tooling within the Microsoft ecosystem
• Strong troubleshooting capability and a systematic approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills — comfortable working across technical and non-technical stakeholders
