Scope of Work

The selected candidate will deliver functional and technical SAP services focused on the Human Capital Management (HCM) suite, with additional involvement across other integrated modules including Finance, Materials Management, Supplier Relationship Management, SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management, and the Fiori-based Portal.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing and support of SAP software applications.
  • Provide comprehensive SAP support including analysis, development, configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Participate in team planning and knowledge-sharing initiatives to improve quality and delivery standards.
  • Prepare detailed documentation of processes, designs, and testing activities in accordance with State and project methodologies.
  • Perform data updates using SAP tools such as LSMW and EPI-USE Data Sync Manager (DSM).
  • Develop and implement high-quality technical solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Support enhancements for dynamic actions and HR cluster table management.
  • Work closely with developers and functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve system performance issues.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and support logs.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with business and technical stakeholders.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, review, debug, and unit test SAP interface processes, particularly those related to the Higher Education Interface (HEI).
  • Develop and implement ABAP programs and customizations in the HCM module.
  • Configure enterprise structures (Personnel Areas/Subareas) and personnel structures (Employee Groups/Subgroups).
  • Collaborate with functional and business teams to design, build, and sustain efficient, integrated solutions.
  • Conduct data retrievals using SAP tools such as Ad Hoc Query, Report Painter, and SAP Tables.
  • Ensure documentation and deliverables align with established project governance standards.
  • Support project milestones and sign-offs per the project schedule and quality standards.
  • Create and configure organizational structures and plans.
  • Apply SAP updates, OSS notes, and fixes as needed.
  • Develop and execute unit test plans, including test script creation and documentation.
  • Provide after-hours support when required to ensure system stability and availability.
  • Contribute to WRICEF (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) development efforts.
  • Utilize LSMW/BDC programming (session and call transaction methods).

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • OR Ten (10) years of equivalent professional experience in application system development, maintenance, or modification.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of professional SAP HCM experience.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Portal technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in WRICEF development within SAP ERP HCM environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Functional knowledge of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors modules.
  • Experience with SAP Workflow (1+ years).
  • Familiarity with mail services through SAP standard APIs.
  • General understanding of accounting and finance processes.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level ERP applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
