SAP SAC Planning Developer

Role Summary

The candidate must have strong expertise in SAC Model Creation, Planning Models, Dimension Management, Story Design, Story-level Calculations, Data Actions,

Advanced Formulas, Allocations, Forecasting, and Integration with S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or SAP BW systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop SAC Planning Models including versions, measures, hierarchies, attributes, and dimensions.

- Build Data Actions, Multi-Actions, Advanced Formulas, and planning scripts for automated calculations, driver-based planning, allocations, rolling forecasts,

validations, and data transformations.

- Develop planning stories, dashboards, analytic applications, input forms, and interactive layouts.

- Integrate SAC with S/4HANA, Datasphere, or BW/4HANA using Live and Import connections.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning scenario modeling.

- Collaborate with Functional and Business to translate requirements into SAC solutions.

- Optimize performance, manage security roles, implement Data Access Control, and support lifecycle management.

- Document solution architecture, calculation logic, and data flow diagrams.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–4 years of hands‑on SAP Analytics Cloud Planning experience including data actions and advance formulas.

- Strong skills in SAC Story design: Pages & Widgets, Charts, Tables, Calculations, Input Controls, Filters, Styling, and Linked Analysis.

- Practical experience creating CDS Views (S/4HANA Analytics) and BW Queries.

- Expertise with Data Actions, Multi-Actions, Advanced Formulas, and Allocations.

- Good understanding of Finance, Project & WBS, G/L Accounts and Planning processes.

- Experience integrating SAC with S/4HANA or Datasphere.

- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

- Good to have BW – Integrated Planning or BPC experience.
