Job Title: SAP SD Functional Consultant
Location: Remote (Eastern Europe / India / Egypt preferred)
Contract Duration: 12 Months (6 months implementation + 6 months support)

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Functional Consultant to support a large scale SAP S/4HANA (IS Retail) transformation programme. This role will focus on delivering and supporting sales, distribution, and order to cash (O2C) processes within a retail environment.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, retail operations teams, and technical consultants to ensure seamless integration between sales, POS systems, logistics, and finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP SD functional activities within S/4HANA IS Retail
- Configure and manage:
- Order to Cash (O2C) processes
- Pricing, billing, and invoicing
- Sales order management and delivery processes
- Support integration with POS systems and retail sales channels
- Ensure accurate sales transactions and revenue recognition across multiple locations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into functional specifications
- Work closely with:
- SAP MM (inventory and logistics integration)
- SAP FICO (financial postings and revenue accounting)
- Participate in full implementation lifecycle:
- Blueprint / design
- Configuration
- Testing (SIT/UAT)
- Go live and hypercare
- Provide post go live support and issue resolution
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and process compliance
- Support process improvements across retail sales operations
Key Requirements
- 10+ years' experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA (mandatory)
- Mandatory: IS Retail experience
- Minimum 3 end to end SAP implementations
- Strong expertise in:
- Sales and distribution processes
- Retail and POS integration
- Pricing, billing, and revenue flows
- Experience in retail or FMCG environments
- Ability to work independently and manage data governance responsibilities
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with retail POS systems and omnichannel sales environments
- Exposure to large scale SAP transformation programmes
- Knowledge of integration with CPI or middleware tools
- Arabic language skills (preferred but not essential)
