Job Title: SAP Solutions Engineer

Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000

About this position:

Advantech is seeking a skilled SAP Solutions Engineer to join our enterprise technology team in Milpitas, CA. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP-based solutions that drive our supply chain and operational excellence. You will collaborate cross-functionally to bridge business needs and technical solutions, playing a critical role in shaping the systems that power Advantech’s global operations.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement SAP solutions following industry best practices.
Provide functional design documents and implementation documentation to development teams.
Lead and participate in business requirement discussions, coordinating end-to-end execution of Material Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), Logistics Execution (LE), Order to Cash (OCT) and Production Planning (PP) related projects and technology implementations.
Implement cross-functional solutions by collaborating with implementation teams across MM, IM, Logistics Execution (LE), Order Management (OM), Order to Cash (OTC) and Finance Costing Module (FICO) SAP modules.
Gather and analyze business requirements, prepare solution options and integration plans, and develop technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Coordinate with end users to test solutions and support deployment, cut-over, and go-live activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as they arise.

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in SAP MM, IM, and LE modules.
Proficiency in SAP ABAP coding.
Extensive experience designing and architecting solutions across SAP functional areas including MM, IM, LE, OM, and OTC.
Experience with 3+ full life cycle implementations of SAP project crossed modules (MM, IM, LE and OCT) related processes.
Configuration experience in SAP Material Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), Order to Cash (OTC), and Logistics Execution (LE) modules.

Preferred Qualifications:

Expertise in SAP MM, IM, Panning (MRP/MPS), OCT and LS modules with the ability to configure and implement in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of cross-application component integration across SAP modules including MM, LE, OCT, PP, and FI.
Customization experience in SAP ECC or HANA Supply Chain related modules.
Strong analysis, design, and project management skills.
Business knowledge of supply chain functions and associated data.
