VMI (Virtual Management Intelligence) is hiring a full time Operator I position in its video monitoring facility located within Scottsdale Arizona, near the 101 and North Scottsdale Road.

19:00:00 - 05:00:00 Wednesday - Saturday
14:00:00 - 00:00:00 Wednesday - Saturday

This position may include nights, weekends, and holidays as it is a 24/7/365 operation. The VMI SARC (Surveillance Acquisition Response Center) Operator is responsible for proactively monitoring (video surveillance) client locations as directed by the client. This position requires computer literacy, knowledge of basic hardware/software, authoring reports, trending analysis, communications with law enforcement and interaction with clients. The hiring process includes an oral interview, a hands-on evaluation and specific training upon employment. Strong computer, communication, and situational awareness skills a must. Previous experience with security operations strongly desired. Applicants must pass a thorough background investigation and cannot possess any felony convictions and/or most misdemeanor convictions. Applicants must have reliable transportation.

Security Operator Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with clients, law enforcement, team members, and general public in a diverse environment.
• Proficient computer skills required to prepare detailed analysis, precise daily logs, and comprehensive incident reports.
• Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating needs, offering suggestions, and exceeding expectations.
• Dispatch response to alarms via telephone while documenting related incident activity.
• Vigilantly monitor high-value assets using a robust analytics-driven CCTV network.
• Perform duties in a professional manner while maintaining a professional appearance.
• Ability to make good judgment decisions in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure all systems, both hardware and software, are functioning properly.
• Handle sensitive and proprietary information, in doing so, remaining confidential.
• Ability to be adaptable to changes or additions to current responsibilities and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Previous security operations experience preferred.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel).
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and adapt to new software/technology.
