Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching standardized tests (SAT, ACT, LSAT, MCAT, SHSAT, TACHS, AP exams) and core academic subjects (Math, English, Spanish, and other subjects are welcome). You will work one-on-one or in small groups to help students achieve their academic and test preparation goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized tutoring in subjects including Math, English, Spanish as well as other subjects across various grade levels.
• Prepare students for standardized tests, including SAT, ACT, LSAT, MCAT, SHSAT, TACHS, AP exams.
• Develop lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and goals.
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
• Motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential.
• Maintain a professional and positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of SAT, ACT, LSAT, MCAT, SHSAT, TACHS, AP exam content and strategies.
• Proficiency in teaching Math, English, and/or Spanish at high school levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
• Bilingual is a plus
