We work 1-on-1 with students across the U.S. and internationally, supporting a wide range of learners, including many with learning differences.

Our approach is deeply individualized: we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all strategies. We aim to understand how each student thinks, what motivates them, and how to help them build confidence and independence.

The Role

We are seeking an SAT/ACT tutor who can teach both math and verbal sections (SAT Reading & Writing, SAT Math, ACT English, ACT Math, ACT Reading).

Strategies and methods are customized for each student. You'll be expected to think critically and adapt in real time rather than follow a fixed curriculum.

What You’ll Do

• Tutor students 1-on-1 online
• Teach all sections of the SAT and ACT
• Adapt your teaching style to each student’s learning needs and personality
• Help students build not just content knowledge, but test-taking strategy and confidence
• Write brief lesson notes and action plans after sessions

What We’re Looking For

• Strong proficiency in both SAT/ACT Math and Verbal sections
• Prior test prep tutoring experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to clearly explain concepts at multiple levels (from foundational to advanced)
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with teenagers
• Flexible, positive, and patient attitude
• Reliability and professionalism

Schedule & Expectations

• Scheduling is very flexible, as is the number of hours worked
• You'll be expected to have 20 hours of evening and weekend availability (ET), and you're welcome to scale up from there
