SAT/ACT Tutor (Remote)

About the Position

We are seeking elite SAT/ACT tutors to work with high-achieving students across the United States. Candidates must be current students or graduates of top U.S. universities and have achieved a verified SAT score of 1550+ on the SAT or 35+ on the ACT.

The ideal tutor combines exceptional academic credentials with outstanding teaching skills and a proven ability to help students significantly improve their standardized test scores. We are looking for educators who can not only teach content and test-taking strategies, but also mentor students through the highly competitive college admissions process.

Experience working with students targeting Ivy League universities, Stanford, MIT, and other highly selective institutions is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group SAT and/or ACT instruction online.
• Create personalized study plans tailored to each student's strengths, weaknesses, and target scores.
• Teach test-taking strategies, pacing, content mastery, and score-maximization techniques.
• Assign and review homework, practice tests, and targeted exercises.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and families.
• Help students build confidence and achieve meaningful score improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous SAT/ACT tutoring experience.
• Proven record of helping students achieve significant score increases.
• Experience working with high-achieving students pursuing admission to highly selective colleges and universities.
• Familiarity with College Board Bluebook, Official SAT Practice Tests, SAT Question Bank, ACT Official Prep Materials, and other leading test-prep resources.

Compensation:

Starting at $30/hour and up, based on experience and qualifications.

The rate includes class preparation time and providing feedback on homework

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
