Position Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Procurement Officer who brings strong experience in international purchasing , combined with working knowledge of local procurement processes in Turkey . The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction-related purchasing, be fluent in English, and be comfortable managing supplier negotiations and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement processes for international vendors, including RFQs, order processing, shipment coordination, and documentation
• Manage procurement operations related to construction materials, especially for overseas projects, in line with technical and budgetary requirements
• Handle local procurement activities in Turkey, including supplier research, cost analysis, and contract execution
• Oversee import, logistics, customs clearance, and delivery processes according to international trade regulations
• Use ERP systems to track and manage purchasing, inventory, and invoice processes
• Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain vendor performance reports
• Perform market analysis, price benchmarking, and alternative sourcing studies
• Coordinate closely with internal departments such as project management, logistics, finance, and production
• Ensure all procurement operations comply with company policies, cost targets, and lead time expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in procurement, with a strong focus on international sourcing; experience in the construction industry is preferred
• Hands-on knowledge of local procurement regulations and practices in Turkey
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Proficiency in ERP systems (such as LOGO, SAP) and strong command of Excel
• Solid skills in supplier negotiation, cost control, and contract management
• Strong communication and coordination abilities across multicultural teams
• Male candidates under the age of 45 are preferred in line with the role’s requirements
• Willingness to travel when needed and provide on-site procurement support
