Job Title: Sauna Host

Location: Sundrop Sauna (5684 Lakeville Hwy, Petaluma, CA 94954)

Position: Part-time

Sundrop Sauna is seeking a part-time Sauna Host to join our team at our Petaluma location. As a Sauna Host, you will play a vital role in creating a positive, relaxing experience for our guests by guiding them through the sauna and plunge process while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Guest relations: Welcome sauna guests by greeting them, orienting them to the space, answering questions, and guiding how to enjoy the space.
• Operation of sauna and cold plunge: Start and manage the propane-powered sauna stove and cold plunge tub (must be comfortable using gas-powered appliances such as manually lighting pilot lights for the sauna and outdoor fire pits. Basic training provided)
• Cleaning and maintenance: Clean sauna, plunge tub, lounge, and restroom as needed in between sessions. These tasks may include wiping down benches, sweeping floors, emptying trash, and rinsing the tub.
• Physical tasks: Occasionally lift 20-30 lb objects such as ice bags, propane tanks, and water jugs.
• Shift schedule Availability to work primarily weekends for 6 to 8 hour-long shifts.

Preferred qualifications:

• Passionate about health, wellness, and sauna culture.
• Enjoys being in nature and is comfortable working outside for most of the day.
• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
• Resourceful and eager to solve problems creatively on the fly.
• Reliable, responsible, and brings plenty of positive vibes.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle.

Compensation:

Pay: $20/hr

Perks: Free access to the sauna and cold plunge during off-hours, plus free access for friends and family.
