SCADA Engineer

1.0 THE OPERATIONAL TARGET

Based in the high-stakes Ahmadi Oil & Gas District, LyD Ingenieria requires a SCADA Engineer to manage the nervous system of our industrial assets. This is a critical infrastructure role. You aren't just monitoring data; you are ensuring the operational integrity and safety of heavy-sector energy systems where downtime is not an option.

2.0 CORE TECHNICAL STACK

• System Architecture: Design and maintain robust Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) frameworks tailored for oil and gas extraction and processing.
• RTU/PLC Integration: Program and troubleshoot Remote Terminal Units and Programmable Logic Controllers to ensure seamless telemetry from the field to the control room.
• HMI Development: Architect intuitive Human-Machine Interfaces that allow operators to make split-second decisions based on real-time sensory data.
• Industrial Cybersecurity: Implement rigorous protocols to shield industrial control systems (ICS) from external threats and internal system drift.

3.0 CANDIDATE LOADOUT

• Background: 5+ years in industrial automation or energy-sector engineering.
• Hard Skills: Mastery of Ignition, Wonderware, or Siemens WinCC; deep knowledge of Modbus, DNP3, and OPC protocols.
• Linguistic Standards: C2 English proficiency is required for technical reporting and safety briefings.
• Visual Documentation: Expert use of Loom to record "System Logic" walkthroughs and troubleshooting guides for field technicians.

4.0 SECTOR CONTEXT

Ahmadi-based role in the heart of Kuwait's energy sector. High-responsibility environment. KWD 1,900 per month.
