About the Role
We are looking for a SCADA & ELV Technician to join our team to handle SCADA systems as well as ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SCADA operations, ELV panel assembly, installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring seamless performance of control and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, test, and commission ELV panels and systems.
- Perform daily monitoring, operation, and maintenance of SCADA systems and related field devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and communication issues in SCADA and ELV systems.
- Assist in configuration, calibration, and integration of SCADA devices and ELV systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections of SCADA and ELV systems.
- Generate system reports, alarm analysis, and performance logs.
- Respond promptly to system faults and provide on-site technical support when required.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and field teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance, installations, configurations, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and technical specifications.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience with SCADA systems and ELV systems.
- Practical experience in ELV panel assembly, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of RTUs, PLCs, sensors, and communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, DNP3).
- Experience with SCADA software (e.g., Wonderware, Siemens, Schneider, ABB).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
