Job Title: SCADA Technician

Job Purpose:

To install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot SCADA systems to ensure reliable monitoring and control of industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain SCADA components (PLC, RTU, HMI).
  • Perform wiring, panel connections, and network setup for industrial communication systems.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to alarms and faults.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues.
  • Support system upgrades and backup procedures.
  • Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Automation, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in SCADA or industrial automation systems.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet, etc.).
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and technical diagrams.

Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site and in shifts if required.
