- Create detailed designs:
- Develop and produce technical drawings and layouts for scaffolding using CAD, specifying system types, tie-offs, and load limitations.
- Conduct structural calculations to ensure the scaffold is stable and can safely support the required loads.
- Assess project-specific requirements and potential hazards to design a safe and practical solution.
- Guarantee all designs meet project specifications, company standards, and relevant safety regulations and codes.
- Oversight and site management
- Supervise the construction, modification, and safe dismantling of scaffolding systems on site.
- Perform initial and regular inspections of the scaffolding to check its structural integrity and safety, especially after any changes or alterations.
- Offer on-site guidance and technical support to construction teams to resolve issues and ensure correct implementation.
- Keep accurate records and registers of scaffolding to maintain compliance and for future reference.
- Ensure the entire scaffolding process adheres to the highest safety standards and that all necessary hazard identification is performed.
- Provide training to other competent persons, scaffold erectors, and users on safety and proper use.
- Contribute to a culture of health, safety, quality, and efficiency improvement on the project.
