Job Title: Scaffolding Supervisor

Location: Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, direct, and motivate a team of scaffolding laborers and advanced tradespeople.
• Plan daily and weekly work schedules, allocate manpower and equipment effectively.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scaffolding design plans to determine requirements.
• Oversee the erection, alteration, and dismantling of complex scaffolding structures (tube & fitting, system scaffolds, mobile towers, suspended systems).
• Ensure the correct selection and use of materials and components.
• Manage on-site scaffolding logistics, including delivery, storage, and inventory control.
• Act as the on-site subject matter expert for all scaffolding safety matters.
• Ensure 100% compliance with company safety policies, OSHA/Health & Safety Executive (HSE) regulations, and local legislation.
• Conduct and document daily Toolbox Talks, pre-task briefings, and hazard analyses (e.g., JSA, AHA).
• Perform frequent and rigorous inspections of scaffolding using statutory checklists (e.g., SCIA/SCGR), tag systems (Green/Red/Yellow), and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.
• Investigate and report any incidents, near misses, or safety violations.
• Champion a "Safety First" culture among the scaffolding team.

Requirements:

• Diploma holder
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in scaffolding in high-rise buildings projects in the UAE
