Job Title: Scaffolding Supervisor

Basic Function:

• A scaffolding supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient construction of scaffolding structures at sites.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all scaffolding activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
• Provide safety training to scaffold builders and other workers involved in scaffolding activities.
• Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to plan scaffolding activities in alignment with project timelines.
• Ensure that scaffolding structures meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct inspections to identify and rectify any defects or issues in the scaffolding.
• Lead a team of scaffold builders and ensure they are properly trained and equipped for their tasks.
• Assign tasks, provide guidance, and oversee the work of scaffold builders.
• Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations related to scaffolding and construction safety.
• Ensure that the scaffolding work complies with all relevant codes and standards.
• Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and storage of scaffolding equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment used in scaffolding meets safety standards.
• Responsible for Inspection & Tagging.
• Required knowledge in ADNOC WMS system.
• Knowledge in preparing detailed method statement/work procedures/drawings related to scaffolding.
• Identify the inherent hazard and mitigate measures towards eliminating of the hazards condition.
• Good knowledge in estimating the scaffolding requirement based on project requirement.

Personal Attributes:

• Should be familiar with working practices in Oil and Gas Industry with highest attention to HSE.
• Knowledge to operate machinery and handle tools required to perform work.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure smooth operation at site.
• Flexible and hardworking nature whilst displaying integrity at all times.

Desired Qualification:

• Must have oil and gas experience of 10+ years.
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Need CISRC certificate (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme).
• Need to pass client interview (ADNOC).
• Need WMS training certificate.
• Need to pass client interview as Job Performer or Performing Authority.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and plans.

Competencies:

• Good command of English knowledge, written and spoken.
• Physical strength to work in hot and humid conditions (onshore and offshore).
• Good hand-eye coordination.
