Scale Model Editor

Responsible for creating, editing, and refining physical or digital scale models used for design presentations, prototyping, or client visualization. This role requires a strong understanding of scale, proportion, materials, and model detailing, as well as proficiency in 3D design tools and fabrication methods.

Scope of Work:

• Develop and edit 3D scale models (digital or physical) to accurately represent architectural, interior, or product designs.
• Adjust model proportions and scaling factors (e.g., 1:50, 1:100, etc.) according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to interpret drawings, CAD files, and specifications.
• Prepare files for 3D printing, laser cutting, or CNC fabrication.
• Review models for accuracy, aesthetics, and technical quality before presentation or production.
• Maintain model libraries, templates, and digital archives.
• Suggest improvements in modeling techniques, tools, and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Industrial Design, or 3D Design (preferred)
• Proficiency in Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or Blender.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the scale modelling field is mandatory for this position.
