We are seeking a talented and motivated Scenic Carpenter to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing scenic elements that bring event productions to life. Your expertise will help create immersive environments by utilizing your carpentry skills, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Responsibilities

• Build and assemble scenic pieces using various materials including wood, metal, foam, and fabric with precision and craftsmanship.
• Install scenery safely and efficiently, ensuring all components are secure and aligned.
• Perform finishing work such as trim carpentry, caulking, painting, and surface treatments to achieve the desired aesthetic.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining equipment in optimal condition.
• Collaborate with project managers, and other crew members to meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Conduct repairs or modifications on existing structures as needed.
• Assist with heavy lifting, material fabrication, framing, or other specialized construction tasks as required.

Experience

• Proven experience in framing carpentry, trim carpentry, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely in fabrication environments.
• Knowledge of CNC Router fabrication processes desired.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards at all times. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
