A broad responsibility to ensure that the department meets set standards for customer service, production targets, quality standards, and inventory accuracy. The Scheduler must ensure procedures for scheduling and inventory are complied with in order to maximize customer service and efficiency. Schedulers will communicate plans, progress, and changes to production stakeholders while providing support and customer service information to floor personnel to ensure these targets are met.
1. Ensure that on time shipment of product meets established targets or are improved upon.
2. Continuously works to ensure customer expectations are met on a timely basis.
3. Monitors inventory accuracy at all levels for accuracy and timely input. Where counts and identifications are wrong, participates in root-cause analysis and corrective actions are taken.
4. Unresolved issues or situations must be communicated up the chain with the Area Manager and others as necessary to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
5. Assist in physical inventories as required.
6. Analyze inventory status on components when individual kanbans/work orders are completed.
7. Provide support to deviations and alternative builds as needs arise.
8. Prepare and audit miscellaneous reports, obtaining approval as required. Research information as requested or needed.
9. Ensure that priorities are followed by the system or the planner.
10. Translate schedules into a format that is clearly understandable. Lead meetings by specific area of responsibility to ensure the needs are accurately communicated and execution plans are in place to meet customer expectations.
11. Provide assistance to floor personnel to include support for issues.
12. Establish a good working relationship with other schedulers in the department and floor staff to include hourly and salary support employees.
13. Must wear the correct PPE at all times and dress in a safe manner.
14. Report any violations of safety rules and regulations.
15. Provides support for new process roll outs and audits for ensuring lean manufacturing initiatives.

2. Possesses requisite math, writing, reading and good communication skills.
3. Must possess good data entry skills.
4. Must understand how to work within set policies and procedures.
5. Must be well organized.
6. Must be able to form teams, set, and meet targets for production and service.
7. Must be adept at troubleshooting and problem solving.
8. Must be able to innovate.
9. Must be able to work independently and efficiently with multiple deadlines.
10. Strong Organizational skills.
11. Must be professional and have a good work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
