Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Scheduling

Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using
Primavera P6
.

Review and validate contractors’ baseline schedules to ensure compliance with contract requirements and realistic sequencing of activities.

Prepare integrated master schedules for multi‑disciplinary projects.
-
Identify critical paths, near‑critical paths, and schedule risks.
2. Progress Monitoring & Control
-
Monitor project progress against approved schedules and highlight variances, delays, and potential risks.

Collect progress data from site supervision teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
-
Perform
what‑if analysis
, delay impact assessments, and forecasting of project completion dates.
-
Generate weekly and monthly progress curves (S‑curves), histograms, and performance dashboards.
3. Reporting
-
Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports, including KPI updates, performance analysis, and executive summaries.
-
Present delays, constraints, and schedule deviations to project managers and clients.
-
Provide early warnings and recommend mitigation strategies to overcome deviations.
4. Coordination & Communication
-
Coordinate closely with site engineers, discipline leads, contractors, and consultants to obtain accurate activity data.

Participate in progress meetings, technical meetings, and coordination sessions.

Communicate schedule requirements, changes, and critical issues clearly to stakeholders.
5. Claims & Delay Analysis
-
Support extension‑of‑time (EOT) evaluations, delay analysis reports, and forensic planning.

Ensure contractors’ delay claims are supported with accurate documentation and scheduling logic.
-
Analyze the impact of variations, rework, and design changes on the schedule.
6. Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure all schedules comply with company standards, contract specifications, and client requirements.

Maintain consistent schedule coding, WBS structures, and reporting formats.
-
Support internal audits and quality reviews related to project planning and controls.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Essential
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

10+ years of experience
in planning and scheduling within the construction supervision industry.
-
Strong experience using
Primavera P6 (mandatory)
and MS Office tools.
-
Proven background in
infrastructure, buildings, industrial
, or similar major projects.
-
Excellent understanding of project management principles, construction methodologies, and sequencing.
-
Experience with
EOT claims
, delay analysis methods (e.g., Time Impact Analysis).
-
Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Preferred
-
Previous experience working in
Saudi Arabia or GCC
with consultants or supervision firms.

Knowledge of international standards (FIDIC, AACE, PMI).
-
Professional certifications:
PMP, PSP, PMI‑SP
(an advantage).

Arabic language skills (optional).
