Scheduler - Maintenance (SMP-Contractor)

JOB PURPOSE:

Scheduling the execution of work packages and orders developed by maintenance planners, ensure the availability of required resources to execute the work orders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (Include the following. Other duties may be assigned):

Performs the process and activities, may include but not limited to:

• Must be a role model for safety and believe we can "Work safely or not at all” and embrace the Tenets of Operation as a basis for action and decision making

• Understands and promotes the concept of proactive safety and takes personal responsibility to seek out “at risk” behaviors and conditions to positively contribute to the overall goal of zero incidents

• Handle assigned scheduling activities in timely manners.

• Track, update, and report the status of scheduled activities and work orders

• Ensure all required work-related documentation are completed

• Prepare, level, revise, edit and publish weekly schedules according to the standard measures and work requirements

• Track in-house craftsmen availability to cover the scheduled jobs and report insufficiency • Facilitates daily scheduling exceptions meeting.

• Adjust scheduling requirements for E&1 break-in work.

• Adjusts and re-communicates schedules and communicates to the Maintenance Supervisor the resources as necessary to accommodate changing production priorities or available resources.

• Ensure all operations have been completed and confirmed.

• Technically complete work orders after all-time have been charged and information has been completed in SAP.

• Provides reports on resource utilization and recommends any staffing changes that may be necessary based on historical trends and forecast.

• Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.

• Performs any other relevant task as directed by direct Supervisor.

Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum diploma degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

• 2-5 years of maintenance scheduling experience using SAP PM module, and familiarity with petrochemical plants
