Scheduling Coordinator

Position: Scheduling Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, friendly customer service to clients, caregivers, and team members.

  • Fully staff schedules at least 2 weeks out.

  • Communicate shift details to clients and caregivers effectively.

  • Coordinate and manage caregivers' schedules, including time-off requests, schedule changes, and new hours.

  • Oversee the recruiting process for new caregivers, ensuring a smooth hiring experience.

  • Complete necessary hiring steps including background checks, reference checks, and document collection.

  • Coordinate and facilitate employee orientations and training sessions.

  • Maintain accurate records and databases in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.

Work Schedule:

  • Location: on-site at our Eagan office

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one hour for lunch

  • Overnight on-call emergency phone coverage 2x week

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous caregiving experience is required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with scheduling software, EMR systems, and general computer proficiency preferred.

  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Experience:

  • Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes is essential.

  • At least two years of experience in the home care field is preferred.

  • Caregiving experience is required.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
