About the job:

The Care Coordinator plays a vital role in client care scheduling to ensure consistent service quality and satisfaction. This remote, work-from-home role requires managing high call volumes, maintaining accurate schedules, meeting deadlines, and communicating professionally with clients, caregivers, and nurses in sensitive situations.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain schedules for multiple clients with diverse care needs.
  • Match caregivers to clients based on individual care plans, preferences, and availability.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, and internal team members via phone and email.
  • Effectively handling last-minute call-outs by promptly securing appropriate caregiver coverage.
  • Respond promptly with empathy to caregiver call-outs, client concerns, and last-minute changes.
  • Communicate effectively by managing difficult phone conversations and delivering clear, professional messages via email and text.
  • Anticipate potential issues and take action to prevent them.
  • Keep the schedule system updated and send daily reports about any changes, issues, or feedback from clients.
  • Handle basic office tasks such as filing and organizing records, while building strong relationships with caregivers and clients to keep them engaged long-term.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • You must be comfortable working U.S.-based hours, with available shifts between either 6:00 AM and 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM (U.S. Virginia time zone).
  • Upper-intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service approach.
  • Ability to stay focused during long periods of seated work.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure remote environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use.
  • High emotional intelligence and professionalism.
  • Effective working both independently and within a team.
