Schenk Lake Attendant

Assists guest visiting the lake.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Follow daily procedures.
• Help coworkers as needed.
• Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees.

Daily:

• Wait on all customers in a friendly and timely manner.
• Clean each boat in the morning and as needed throughout the day.
• Unlocks all boats.
• Ensures that each person is on an assigned boat.
• Assists guests while getting on and off the boat.
• Secures life jacket on children.
• Monitors the time guests are on boats.
• Keeps dock area free of debris.
• Hoses dock off daily.
• Walks around the lake, playground, and parking lot picking up debris.
• Keep seating area neat and clean.
• Assist with cleaning of the shelters.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms throughout the day.
• May assist with the refreshment stand.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
