SCHOOL ACADEMIC SUPERVISOR

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Academic Supervisor to oversee and strengthen academic delivery across all school sections. The ideal candidate will combine whole-school oversight capability with strong teaching experience at the CBSE Higher Secondary level and proven leadership experience in a CBSE school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee academic planning and implementation across all sections (KG to Grade 12)
• Ensure alignment with CBSE curriculum standards and academic frameworks
• Supervise and support Academic Coordinators, Section Heads, and teaching staff
• Monitor lesson planning, classroom delivery, and student performance
• Conduct observations, evaluations, and provide structured feedback to staff
• Lead exam planning, assessments, and academic result analysis
• Drive continuous academic improvement and quality assurance initiatives
• Support staff development through training, mentoring, and performance tracking
• Ensure readiness for inspections and compliance with CBSE and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with school leadership on academic strategy and institutional growth

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a core academic subject
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) – Mandatory
• Minimum 3-4 years of teaching experience, including CBSE Higher Secondary (Grades 11–12)
• Proven leadership experience in a similar academic supervisory role within a CBSE school
• Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, assessment systems, and board requirements
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive academic outcomes

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing multi-level academic teams (KG to Grade 12)
• Strong analytical skills in academic data and performance tracking
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
