Join our vibrant team as a School-Age Educator & Center Driver, where you will play a vital role in nurturing the growth and development of children in our care while ensuring safe transportation to and from our center. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum activities tailored to school-age children, promoting childhood development, behavior management, and early childhood education principles.
- Manage classroom environments with effective classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and active participation.
- Provide supervision during recreational activities, sports coaching, theater projects, and tutoring sessions to enhance children’s skills and confidence.
- Ensure safety by maintaining vigilant supervision and applying first aid procedures when necessary; uphold health and safety standards at all times.
- Safely operate center vehicles for daily transportation needs, including morning pick-ups and afternoon drop-offs, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Assist with special education needs by implementing individualized support plans and collaborating with other educators or counselors as appropriate.
- Support children’s emotional well-being through Christian counseling techniques or other nurturing approaches that promote a caring environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, babysitting, tutoring, or early childhood education programs.
- Strong skills in classroom management, behavior management, and childhood development strategies.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating vehicles safely for transporting children is preferred.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or child psychology are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment.
- Knowledge of sports coaching, theater arts, or extracurricular activities is advantageous for enriching program offerings.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
