School Age Teacher - Immediate Opening

The Child Day Schools (TCDS) Pleasanton seeks and welcomes fully qualified school age teachers to apply for this teaching position who can create positive and dynamic educational experiences for school-age children.

Part Time School Age Teaching Position Available
Monday - Friday 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm (approximate hours, exact shift hours may vary). Additional hours may be available, especially during summer, ask for more information.

We are looking for committed, energetic educators to join our wonderful, friendly staff who value ongoing coaching and training, and who exhibit respect and professionalism in communications with children, parents and co-workers.

TCDS offers children a dynamic curriculum model, which includes both HighScope and the Emergent Curriculum (Project Webs). This unique curriculum provides children with developmentally appropriate, open-ended learning experiences, with actively engaged teachers.

Pay Range: $21-$22 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Requirements:
12 Early Childhood Education Units preferred. Teachers with fewer than 12 ECE units who are enrolled in ECE classes are also encouraged to apply.
6 - 12 Months Experience as a school age or similar teaching experience preferred
Live Scan clearance
Current Immunizations and Health Report
CPR/First Aid Certified
Follows all health & safety practices for a clean and safe environment
Mandated Reporter Training completion
Understands Community Care Licensing regulations
Average or above average physical strength and mobility
Commitment to ongoing coaching and education in Early Childhood
